[android-developers] Navigation Drawer and using - over sized - icons

I would like to be able to use oversized icons within the Navigation Drawer listview items.

However, I have seen that, even if I put larger icons in the resource directories, they are all scaled down.
This is for working exclusively within a tablet application.

Is there a way around this automatic re-scaling ?
