[android-developers] Re: .db files being renamed to .back

Customer reports that some large db files were missing from storage and were replaced by a .back file of the same approximate size.

Nothing in my code ever renames a .db file to a .back file.

Is there some system process that would do that?

Could it have anything to do with copying files from one Android device to another?
