Re: Moving a GPolygon
A map I created at http://www.keytosavannah.com/maps/search/ has the
circle-around-marker you mention. Drag the red pin out onto the map
and you'll see the circle drawn around it. The circle follows the pin
as you drag it (add/remove overlay method). Yes, it can gobble up the
cpu (the more of the screen the polygon covers the more CPU it
gobbles) but it's fairly responsive on most hardware I've used it on,
and of course it stops using cpu when you stop dragging. I don't
really have a problem using cpu in response to quick user-initiated
tasks.
