Re: addOverlay not working with certain .kml files
Sorry, you misunderstood me. I didn't mean the changes weren't
visible, I meant that the .kml is not rendered at all.
I compared the two .kml files and the only difference I found in their
structure was that the new polylines (which were drawn in Googla Maps
and have only a name, no description) have this tag:
<description><![CDATA[]]></description>
whereas the previews lines which have no description don't even have
that tag. I removed those lines from the file and it works now, so I
guess that was the problem.
Why do the new polylines have that tag and the older ones don't? Is
there any way I can make new polylines without that tag?
