I believe you have now started indexing markers however have not yet
seen how this is implemented within Google maps searches. Do you have
any examples of how markers, that have been indexed, are being
displayed in Google Maps. It would also be interesting to know the
number of unique users that that will trigger your crawler to index
the map markers? You say 'many' but surely that must depend on the
subject matter contained within each map system.

Our markers are currently indexed within Google web searches by
creating a sitemap containing each marker that is added to our map.
I'm keen to make sure that we have everything in place to make sure
that markers will also now appear within Google maps searches too.
Will our bespoke icons also appear in Google maps searches for
instance?
