No, Google Ajax search api is NOT the answer:
what I am looking for is a service that I feed with a text: for
example, to the input text "I am for 3 days in Los Angeles and then
fly back to New-York", the service would answer something in the
spirit of : <places><count /><place><name>NY</name><lat>x1</
lat><long>y1</long ></place><place><name>LA</name><lat>x2</
lat><long>y2</long ></place></places>
