What notes. Looked like subjects to talk about without any help from a
teleprompter. Liberal are truly ignorant fools. Buckwheat has a lot more
than subjects wrote down on his teleprompter. Buckwheat could have had
any number of subjects wrote down on hand, paper etc. and he still
wouldn't have known what to say without his teleprompter.

You are an ignorant FOOL. There wasn't any resemblance to cheating wrote
on her hand what so ever. It was just subjects to talk about. You left
wing wackos are not even remotely able to use your brain. Buckwheat
would have had more than subjects on his teleprompter.

It's funny how some Rightards will buy into this sort of spin. Ignorant
people who are so gullible and eager to unquestioningly swallow and
regurgitate lies and spin, such as the birther scam, which is why
corporate manipulation of the electorate with sophisticated and heavily
funded media campaigns is such a worry. Slickly packaged and endlessly
repeated lies will drown out both truth and reason, being far more
palatable and digestible to the intellectually hapless and easily misled
voters they are targeted to, i.e., those who are simply unprepared and
unequipped to sort out the facts from the coming tidal wave of lies.

God, guns and guts made America great.

It's pretty much all they have. The big O has been notable for his losses
over the past year. The Olympics, Copenhagen, 3 elections, health care
"deform". Guy seems to pull a black cloud along with him whereever he goes.
Under the circumstances, grasping at straws against potential opponents is
about all the left has. There certainly isn't anything substantial and
positive they can talk about. So childish stupidity is about all they have.
Well, that and lies.

God, guns and guts made America great.
And Janet Napolitano nervous.
Which should tell you all you need to know about Democrats. How can one
restore America to greatness if greatness makes you uncomfortable?

Typically, that's what Obama does too -- read his speech. Difference
is, he can speak intelligently off the cuff too. Imagine Palin having
a sit down with Democrats askin her hard questions.

You kidding? Of course they'll have cheat sheets. They always do. And
she'll be allowed to wink and ham it up all she wants, and her
supporters will eat it up.

I love how they've even gone to the "blame Bush" well too many times
for it to be effective. I guess the next state of the union will be
the same set of platitudes, only this time a few Sarah Palin jokes and
maybe a Glenn Beck one...

All depends what you are going to be doing with it.
Bit too slow for carbide tooling on small diameters but fine for HSS
Is it a three phase machine? if so you could run it on an inverter and
run it up to double the speed without much risk. Keep any eye on top
speed for the big chucks etc and see if the bearings/gearbox warms up
too much.
Start remembering that 1mm = 39.37 thou as you home in on final diameters.
These slightly bigger machines tend to be cheap as some home users are
(wrongly) put off by them.
Unless it has been abused then it should be fine.
Good luck

A little update on this. I believe that I have the "full picture".
1. The motor shaft is completely straight (no surprise)
The fit between the lower inner pulley hub and the motor shaft is not
good and, therefore, the said hub does not want to sit straight.
This accounts only for a smaller part of vibration.
2. The hydraulic stuff sits on a long 3/8" shaft, which is held in the
lower outer pulley half by a bushing and retaining ring. Retaining
ring sits in a circle in the sald pulley half. A part of the cast iron
rim on this half is gone and the retaining ring was broken. The
bushing had a lot of wear near the retaining ring and the whole thing
vibrated a lot. I believe that eventually vibration would destroy
everything.
I ordered the retaining ring. I asked Clausing how much it is to
replace the shaft with bushing. If the shaft/bushing is affordable, I
will just buy it, if not, I can make the replacement on the
lathe/mill, it is not complicated.

Epoxy is one of the more resistant resins. Some chemicals obviously will
eat it, but in normal usage its only real Achilles heel is UV radiation
primarily from sunlight.

OK, I changed my mind and I will use epoxy. I assume I need to remove
the primer that I put on, which will be easy.

Most likely going to be a custom jobbie, but you might get lucky.
This is why they invented welding...
Pipe used for fence posts usually doesn't correspond with the Tubing
sizes used for light standards. The only exception, 2-1/2" pipe is
slightly under the 3" nominal OD for light-duty lighting standards.
All the "fence conversions" I've dealt with use standard fence top
caps with a hole drilled for the light stem, and double locknuts to
secure. And every one has had lights that get loose easily and spin
to where they want in severe winds.
The best move is to go back 5 to 10 feet and put up a dedicated light
standard. Let the fence be a fence and keep the baddies out, and the
post light it up. And you don't have to worry about the barbed wire
when changing the lamps.

You haven't ripped out a good rant for a while, I think you are
getting back into the swing of things.
This is some funny shit, you foaming away at the keyboard again.
You must have run out of your prescription, or decided you didn't need
it anymore....
Tell us, if your pay is based on the mighty stock options you bragged
about, are you now working for "Coolie Wages" ?
And is that why you need to make up a cart?
Thanks again for the rant!
Hope I gave you some ideas on some more funny rants...
We are counting on you to entertain us...

That is for sure!
There is a teensy rotary at the main entry to the Kaiser Medical
Center in Santa Clara California.
("700 Lawrence Expressway, Santa Clara, CA" > maps.google.com)
We have folks entering that parking lot, many in a heightened
emotional state. This results in lots of misleading driving moves
with almost no use of turn signals.
Several times, folks entering the lot start an un-signaled right
turn out of my path and then change their mind, seemingly aiming
for my left fender (it's metal) just as I'm about to enter the
rotary, to exit the lot. Most of the time, I'm reading their
facial expression in an attempt to divine their path (lacking
any other indication).
It is a "body shop owner's dream", a perfect combination of
distracted drivers having their first encounter with a busy,
confusing intersection in close quarters.
So far, only sheer luck has prevented dents. Somehow that
doesn't seem sufficient.
