How can I access the the placemark names of a KML that is parsed with egeoxml?

Hello,

I am using egeoxml to display placemarks contained in a KML file. I
want to access each placemark's name. I tried using
egeoxml.gmarkers[i].getTitle(); but the marker title appears to be
undefined. I suppose the marker title is not set by the corresponding
placemark name. Is there another way to do this? Am I missing
something obvious?

I would really appreciate some help with this. Thanks in advance!
