Hmm, that seems to be mentality question and out of the scope of this
group.
But let's look at your argument a bit closer:
You said the expert is able to do the work in 5 minutes which would
take you so long that you'd see it as waste of time.
I think this argument diminishes the expert's time and work and
simultaneously enhances your own work and time in completely wrong
proportions. (We are not looking at the time that was necessary for
the expert to become an expert.)
Let's test how you've meant it:
Assumed that it's right what you said, then it would certainly be fair
to pay for the expert's 5 minutes task exactly the same price as you
would charge for your long work.
Wouldn't you agree and would you be ready to pay that price that you
conceded?
