Re: Importing 100+ KML files into google maps
I wildly speculate that those 300+ KML files are not hand written, but
generated by some automatic process. If so, I'd recommend generating one
large file in some other format.
If your files mainly contain markers, then consider using a marker
manager.
If your files mainly contain large amounts of descriptive text for use
only in infowindows, then consider loading that text on demand.
