[Google Maps API v2] Download php array to XML for marking markers on google map

How to download elements of php array( it is an array of locations)
into an xml file ?

I have an array with 10 locations(in either (lat , long) or some text
address) .
I want to geocode them ,but for this i have to download the data into
xml
Can anyone help me how to do this ?
