Well.. Here is a way to solve it I guess.. Kind of the least most invasive way to do it..

then add this to .gwt.xml

<define-linker class="x.linker.SymbolMapTooBig" name="symbolmapsucks"/>

<add-linker name="symbolmapsucks"/>

I recommend testing it first... Good luck..
