Yes you can (but note that MS Access is not a robust database designed
for use on the web, it works OK for small sites, but if you are
expecting thousands of users, you should avoid it). The key is to use
AJAX to get the data out of the database (as xml or json),
periodically request data from the server with a unique URL (using a
cache busting time stamp).
