Get the client jars for your JMS implementation, build an Android app, test
if it works. If they are not using JDK API's not included in Android, it will
probably work.
One thing to note is that if you intend to subscribe the Android app to a
queue, you will need to keep it awake so it can receive messages as they
come. This may not be a good idea, because it will drain the battery pretty
fast.

Not sure what this means. Try the native libs, if that doesn't work try the
REST interface.
