[android-developers] Re: Android music player intent in jquery

JQuery is JavaScript running in a web browser. You cannot start Android intents from there, unless there has been some magical update I am not aware of. What's wrong with just linking / redirecting to that MP3 or whatever as a download?

I think first of all you should better describe your problem. What exactly are you doing? Are you coding just a web page that will be viewed via the standard Android web browser or are you embedding a web view inside an app?
