Sounds like you will want to launch the Adobe PDF Reader.  I'm guessing you want something like this:

Intent intent = new Intent();

intent.setPackage("com.adobe.reader");

intent.setDataAndType(Uri.parse(doc), "application/pdf");

startActivity(intent);
