Set-up Problems: Permission denied

I am getting a permission error when I got to this part of the set-up. (I have also replaced the WORKING-DIR fyi)

ln -s WORKING-DIR/django-trunk/django/bin/django-admin.py /usr/local/bin

Errors:

ln: /usr/local/bin/My: Permission denied

ln: /usr/local/bin/Django: Permission denied

ln: /usr/local/bin/django-admin.py: Permission denied

How would I go about this?
