[Rails] ruby on rails on ARM am335x

Hi all,
have you ever experience ruby on rails on a embedded linux SO? For example on beagle bone's arm.
I'm assessing for my web server scripting language: php or ruby on rails?
I'm a total novice on ruby on rails. Any ideas or tips are welcome.
