Yes, its actually 'galleries_pictures'

class Gallery < ActiveRecord::Base
has_and_belongs_to_many :pictures

class Picture < ActiveRecord::Base
has_and_belongs_to_many :galleries

"Not relevant, but @gallery.pictures would work there..." Where?
