They are not in the url, but in the body. I saw this now:

Changed in Django 1.5:

Before Django 1.5, HttpRequest.POST contained non-form data.

This means I have to put this in the header:

ContentType: application/x-www-form-urlencoded

Seems that jquery does this for you when you serialize a form, but not otherwise.
