[android-developers] No patcher for Android Studio?!?

From the website it appears there is not patch utility for Android Studio, instead we must redownload and install the latest minor revision of the tool? Is this true? Is there any plan to change this in the future? Since software patching patterns and paradigms have been in place for over a decade I find it hard to believe this is where we are Jet Brains!!!
