[Google Maps API v2] Google Map Maker API

Hi,

Is there any plans to provide a Google Map Maker API?

Some companies owning their own maps and wanting to move to Google maps might need a more automated way to update Google maps with more detailed information from their own maps.

It would be a great functionality to have an Map Maker API that could be used in such cases.
