The poor don't pay any tax at all. Even with deductions, the rich still
pay lots of taxes.

How many corporate jets are there? If it's legitimately used for the
business of the firm, why shouldn't it be treated as a business expense
just like the utility bills and rent on the factories and offices? It's
a legitimate expense until you prove it isn't.

http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/constitution/item/17186-cbo-report-the-rich-pay-most-of-the-taxes-the-poor-get-checks

Jane Wells, a business news reporter for CNBC, after reviewing the
latest report from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) on who pays
income taxes in America, claimed that the rich pay them all. The CBO,
wrote Wells, showed that the top 20 percent pay nearly 93 percent of all
income taxes, while the top 40 percent pay 106 percent of them.

How is that possible? The bottom fifth of wage earners get more from the
government than they pay in taxes. Hence, the anomaly of the so-called
rich paying more than 100 percent of all income taxes received by the
government.

The CBOs math is straightforward: For the year 2010, the bottom fifth
earned market income wages, business income, capital gains,
retirement income, and so on of $8,100 per person. But they also
received government transfers cash payments and in-kind benefits
such as SNAP of $22,700, leaving them with a per-person after-tax
income of $30,800. Each persons income tax liability in that group?
Exactly zero.

For the second lowest quintile, the numbers for 2010 were similar:
income of $30,700 per person, government transfers of $15,200 with
income taxes paid of $2,500 per person, leaving them with an after-tax
income of $43,400.

This government largess must be paid for in some way, and its the
remaining three-fifths of Americans who do the paying, especially the
top fifth. Says the CBO, the average wage earner in the top 20 percent
of all wage earners had an income in 2010 of $234,000, received
government benefits of $6,500 and paid taxes of $58,900, leaving each
with an after-tax income of $181,900.

Concluded Wells:

People who make more should pay more, generally speaking. In America,
they are.

When it comes to individual income taxes, theyre also covering the
entire bill. And leaving a tip....

Fair or not, I will let you be the judge.

Josh Barro, the politics editor at Business Insider, picked a nit with
her but not about whether such taxation is fair but over her and the
CBOs analysis and conclusion: There are many other taxes aside from
income taxes that every sentient soul in the country pays, whether they
know it or not. There are payroll taxes, state income taxes, sales
taxes, property taxes, and excise taxes. There are taxes buried in the
cost of gasoline, and in manufactured goods reflecting corporate income
taxes. There are employer-paid payroll taxes that properly should be
ascribed to the individual wage earner. And so on.

Said Barro, The federal personal income tax only made up 28% of all
U.S. government tax collections in 2012. Federal, state and local
government collected $4 trillion in taxes last year, just $1.1 trillion
of that [coming from] federal personal income taxes. He concluded:

Rich people do pay a lot more taxes than poor people, both in absolute
terms and as a percentage of [their] income. But the rich are not paying
all the taxes.

Barro neatly avoids any discussion, however, of just how fair these
taxes are, or should be.

There are many ways to argue for or against the amount people pay in
taxes. One way is to assume that government should take everything it
can get to be put to good use by the government as long as the taxes
by the government aren't so high that they discourage people from
earning money or paying taxes. If one were determined to extract the
maximum government revenue from an economic system, he could employ the
Laffer Curve, which shows that the maximum revenue to be extracted
approaches some 70 percent of income. If it were higher than that, the
incentive to produce more would diminish and revenues would go down. If
it were lower, the government would be leaving revenues on the table for
its original owners to spend as they wished.

Then there is the sovereign citizen argument that says that any
extraction above zero represents involuntary servitude as explained by
libertarian philosopher and economist Murray Rothbard:

In a sense, the entire system of taxation is a form of involuntary
servitude. Take, in particular, the income tax. The high levels of
income tax mean that all of us work a large part of the year several
months for nothing for Uncle Sam before being allowed to enjoy our
incomes on the market.

Part of the essence of slavery, after all, is forced work for someone at
little or no pay. But the income tax means that we sweat and earn
income, only to see the government extract a large chunk of it by
coercion for its own purposes. What is this but forced labor at no pay?

There is the moral argument that the income tax system violates at least
two of the 10 Commandments thou shalt to steal and thou shall not
covet and three of the Seven Deadly Sins Greed, Sloth, and Envy.

There is another response to the unanswered question, however, drawn
from Article I Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution the enumerated
powers given to the national government. Prior to the ratification of
the 16th Amendment, the national government ran itself on tariffs and
excise taxes, at a vastly lower cost. One thing is certain, according to
Ron Paul:

The Founding Fathers never intended a nation where citizens would pay
nearly half of everything they earn to the government.

Nor did the Founders contemplate such a system of taxation. As Dr.
Adrian Rogers, pastor emeritus of Bellevue Baptist Church, wrote,

What one person receives without working for[,] another person must work
for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything
that the government does not first take from somebody else.

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work
because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other
half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is
going to get what they work for, that, my dear friend, is the beginning
of the end of any nation.

Milton Friedman once said that if you eat your own feces off of her

government when you get cancer and run out of money.

When Vlad Putin was asked about his fellow Russian Roasenbaum, he said
"She was just a nutty bitch, like those sluts from Pussy Riot.
Americans are fools who worship imbeciles as Gods".

The money from rich people trickles down to my begging hands, that's
why I sit around reading The Fountainhead all day while you assholes go
to work.

Rush says that you don't want to send your boys to school, else they
end up like one of those crazy scientists who say things that the tea

The only scientists who Ayn Rosenbaum liked were the chemists who made
her Benzidrine. She knew that tobacco was harmless.

You poor people should get the fuck out of this country if you can't
cut it.

You can all stop worrying about the economy: rich people are feeling
great. Five years out from the financial crisis, families making over
$800,000 a year are feeling positive about their stock portfolios and
economic growth. According to a survey by the American Affluence
Research Center, the wealthiest 10 percent of families' economic
confidence has jumped to score of 93. That's almost back up to levels
before pre-2008 levels.

Rich people still know they're supposed to budget, however. According
to the survey, they'll be cutting back on holiday shopping this year:
"Affluent households plan to spend an average of $2,175 on holiday
gifts, a 2.8 percent decline from 2012." The Wall Street Journal points
out that $2,175 is almost four times the amount the National Retail
Federation forecasts the average holiday shopper will spend.

Minor spending limits aside (just drop Aunt Marge from the holiday
shopping list!), it's a great time to be rich. The wealthiest 10
percent of families got half of all American income last year, for the
first time in history. The top 1 percent's average income grew by 31
percent — economists Emmanuel Saez and Thomas Piketty are calling it a
new "Gilded Age." And if you're a rich Democrat, the Clintons are back
to be very nice to you.

So things have gotten much better since the bleak days of the financial
crisis and Occupy Wall Street. It was not fun to be a rich person then!
Take it from the guys on Wall Street who got smaller bonuses when the
economy was in the tank. Alan Dlugash, a partner at accounting firm
Marks Paneth & Shron LLP in New York, told Bloomberg in early 2012,

"People who don't have money don't understand the stress. Could you
imagine what it's like to say I got three kids in private school, I
have to think about pulling them out? How do you do that?"

Another banker had to give up his yearly Aspen trip. One family had to
postpone the upgrade they wanted for their 1,200-square-foot Brooklyn
duplex. But since wealthy people are rebounding way better than
everyone else from the crisis, those troubles are almost over.

The only downside is that, according to Thought Catalog, poor people
might judge you for being rich.

It sounds like the Italian pervert wants to keep all the blow jobs to
himself because he doesn't want your wife or girlfriend to give one to
you. Of course the biggest problem with this is over how most
Teahadist rednecks get their oral sex from Daddy. Most republicans
who serve in the military only do so for the free cot, free food and
all the great man-on-man sex in the shower.

Last month, three judges on the US Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit
deemed a Virginia anti-sodomy law unconstitutional. The provision, part
of the state's "Crimes Against Nature" law, has been moot since the
2003 US Supreme Court decision overruled state laws barring consensual
gay sex, but Virginia has kept the prohibition on the books.

Now Virginia attorney general and Republican gubernatorial candidate
Ken Cuccinelli is asking the full 4th Circuit to reconsider the case.
Cuccinelli wants the court to revive the prohibition on consensual anal
and oral sex, for both gay and straight people. (The case at hand
involves consensual, heterosexual oral sex, but, as the New York Times
explained in 2011, it's "icky": The sex was between a 47-year-old man
and two teenagers above Virginia's age of consent.)*

Here's more from the Washington Blade:

Virginia Attorney General Kenneth Cuccinelli has filed a petition
with the 4th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Richmond asking the full
15-judge court to reconsider a decision by a three-judge panel last
month that overturned the state's sodomy law.

The three-judge panel ruled 2-1 on March 12 that a section of
Virginia's "Crimes Against Nature" statute that outlaws sodomy between
consenting adults, gay or straight, is unconstitutional based on a U.S.
Supreme Court decision in 2003 known as Lawrence v. Texas.

A clerk with the 4th Circuit appeals court said a representative of
the Virginia Attorney General's office filed the petition on
Cuccinelli's behalf on March 26. The petition requests what is known as
an en banc hearing before the full 15 judges to reconsider the earlier
ruling by the three-judge panel.

Mother Jones confirmed that Cuccinelli had filed the request with the
court as well. Given that the Supreme Court has already ruled that gay
sex is okay and moved on to the question of gay marriage, I wouldn't
expect his appeal to go very far.

This post has been updated to include more details about the case in
question.

The Darky Sowell is never wrong. His fellow negro Dennis Rodman
agrees. That's why he's the Black Economist here and you're not.
Maybe it's time that you assholes stopped blaming the government for
why you suck as a nation. Do any of you have a job that pays more than
minimum wage or do you all just sit back and masturbate to Sean Hannity
after you wake up in the middle of the afternoon? The only reason why
you idiots watch the Superbowl is because you're fags who are addicted
to those tight negro glutes the players have.

Obscure Token Black Republican Ivory Tower Academic Elitist Thomas

Has Sowell ever served as an advisor to anyone of significance?
Nope! He just sits in his corner and spouts partisan shit all day.

http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=41977

He has a nice, cushy socialist job in Academia preaching nonsense to
gullible minds. He must hate the average American, read the article
from the fascist right wing rag frontpage mag, it drips with
contempt for America and Americans. You can see why Sowell's never
been advisor to anyone important.

Not surprising is how his mindless acolytes are generally gullible
old fools who can't vote in the US election because they don't live
in the USA and probably aren't even allowed to enter.

A Georgia Republican who suggested school children do cafeteria work
because theres no such thing as free lunch billed thousands of
dollars for his own meals to taxpayers.

In addition to his own taxpayer-funded meals, the station reported,
the congressman also received $4,289 in free meals billed to
third-party groups such as the Georgia Bankers Association and the
Congressional Institute.

Who needs health care when if you send all your money to Benny Hinn,
he'll heal you through your TV set! He's from Canada, just like
Rafael "Ted" Cruz, so he's smarter than we are! Pat Robertson and
Rush Limbaugh tell right wing American slobs what to think. I bet that
somewhere, there's pictures of them in a circle jerk fest.

Why scientists are seldom Republicans

By Robyn E. Blumner, Times Columnist

Have you ever wondered what the world would be like without
scientists?

Ask the Republican Party.

It lives in such a world.

Republicans have been so successful in driving out of their party
anyone who endeavors in scientific inquiry that pretty soon there
won't be anyone left who can distinguish a periodic table from a
kitchen table.

It is no wonder the Republican throngs showing up to disrupt town hall
meetings on health care reform are so gullible, willing to believe
absurd claims like the coming of "death panels."

Their party is nearly devoid of neuroscientists, astrophysicists,
marine biologists or any other scientific professional who would
insist on intellectual rigor, objective evidence and sound reasoning
as the basis for public policy development.

The people left don't have that kind of discipline and don't expect it
from their leaders.

They are willing to believe anything some right-wing demagogue with a
cable show or pulpit tells them, no matter how outlandish.

Since the Sonia Sotomayor nomination we've been hearing about the
GOP's Hispanic deficit.

Only 26 percent of Latino registered voters now say they identify with
or lean toward the Republican Party.

But that's a full house compared with scientists.

Only 12 percent of scientists in a poll issued last month by the Pew
Research Center say they are Republican or lean toward the GOP, while
fully 81 percent of scientists say they are Democrats or lean
Democratic.

We shouldn't be surprised that people who are open to evidence-based
thinking have abandoned the Republican Party.

The GOP has proudly adopted the mantle of the "Terri Schiavo, global
warming shwarming" party with the Bush administration helping cement
the image by persistently subverting science to serve a religious
agenda or corporate greed.

But what worries me is not the shrunken relevancy of the GOP, a party
in which 56 percent of its members oppose funding of embryonic stem
cell research, 39 percent believe humans have always existed on Earth
in their present form, and in which only 30 percent say human activity
is warming the planet.

It is that this nation's future depends upon people who don't think
that way and the Republican Party is closing the door to them.

Every hope we have to invent our way out of this economic malaise and
create enough Information Age jobs to maintain a stable and prosperous
middle class sits on the shoulders of people who understand and
practice the scientific method.

Every hope we have of advancing human understanding of the physical
universe and bettering our lives in it, is tied to professionals now
represented by only one of our nation's two major political parties ?
while the other party attempts to obstruct them.

Global warming is a prime example.

Earth is under siege by CO2 emissions to a point that the Pentagon is
warning that our national security is at risk if climate change is not
arrested.

All Americans and politicians should be united for collective action.

Yet George Bush spent essentially his entire presidency ignoring and
suppressing scientific concerns.

Even today, with the effects of global warming evident, Republicans in
Congress are trying to bury the cap-and-trade energy bill, the
nation's first attempt (albeit not strong enough) to limit greenhouse
gas emissions.

Their alternative is to offer nothing.

Why are they so blind to the looming crisis?

Because to embrace what scientists are saying about global warming
would give political liberals a win, something the GOP leadership is
not wont to do.

Republicans build their political careers disdaining "elitists" with a
good education, complex charts and empirical data.

They see it to their political advantage to rally people to distrust
science.

That means our nation is only likely to advance to meet the heady
scientific challenges of the future, on health and the environment ?
advancements that translate directly into economic progress and rising
living standards ? if the Democrats remain in power with substantial
majorities.

But if the nation's economic situation doesn't turn around soon, a GOP
resurgence could very well come.

Then scientists will once again be on the defensive against a
Republican Party that left them behind in favor of the Tea Party
crowd, the birthers, and the people who shout at town halls that
government better keep its hands off their Medicare.

The USA has been a socialist gulag for over 80 years now. If you want
real capitalism, don't look up to fat, slovenly pseudocapitalist

Hell, most so-called "capitalist" Americans don't know the meaning of
the word or the word socialism for that matter. Their heads are way to
far up their right wing asses from being fed all that propaganda, to
know any better.

They're fat and gay. Why don't they have jobs?

Uneducated rightist faggots live to rape our children.

We should have publically executed Bush the day that Obama was

I believe that I'm a small business owner, when all I really do is sell

The death penalty was invented to execute TeaFaggots and Republicans.

MODERN MAN, MODERN SCIENCE TODAY PRIDES HIMSELF ON BEING A GOD, "YE
SHALL BE AS GODS". (Gen.3:5) The religion of the World today is
becoming the religion of science, the sacred cow, the worship of Man
and his knowledge as gods. That's the whole plan of that bag of the
Devil's dirty tricks, to deceive young people into believing that they
are gods, and decide then there are no others--Man is his own god, he
should worship himself.

Modern man is not as smart as he thinks he is, but he likes to try to
impress especially poor little kids in school with what a god he
is--now he knows everything! They don't say, "This is our guess, this
is our theory"--they don't say it about evolution or these astronomical
things either. They just say, "This is the way it happened!"--When it
didn't happen that way!

All of their guesswork is pure theory and falsehoods and fairy tales,
yet they talk about it with a straight face, soberly, and they will
picture it on television and show you just how it happened, like on
that "Cosmos" show, a TV evolutionary series of bunk! It was diabolical
from one end to the other! It is the most lavish, clever series to
scientifically spoof and debunk religion and Christian institutions and
leaders and history and anything Christian or religious or about God at
all!

They weave the truth, some of the actual facts about the Solar system,
right in together with all the fancy and fanciful fairy tales! So the
poor kids can't tell which is right and which is wrong! And since a lot
of those things are absolutely true because they've been proven and
they've taken photographs of some of the planets etc., they think that
all the rest must be true too!

I THINK YOU'D SHOCK SOME CHRISTIANS IF YOU'D REMIND THEM THAT THE BIBLE
SAYS THE SUN, MOON and STARS WERE NOT CREATED UNTIL THE FOURTH DAY OF
CREATION!--Totally contrary to their theory! See, the Devil's whole
idea is to try to disprove the Bible. And if we didn't pin you down to
some of these things, you wouldn't even realise it! So you need to know
these things so you won't swallow all that slop every time they dish it
up, and they dish it up every single time they say anything about the
Solar system or astronomy or stars or evolution.

You've heard that slop that they put out about the big ball of fire
first, the sun coming first, and the sun threw off these planets, and
you thought maybe that's the way God created it.--All pure evil
imagination, that's all! It just isn't so! It just didn't happen that
way. What did God make first?--The Heaven and the Earth! (Gen.1:1)

When I was young, they said the process of evolution had taken only a
few million years. By the time I was a young teenager in high school,
it had grown to a few hundred million. But by the time I got to college
age, they were already hitting the billion mark! And I notice now
they've gone up to 4-1/2 billion, because the further they can put it
back, the more impossible it is to both prove or disprove.

I'm telling you, Man has gotten into things that are way too high for
him, and much too old too. It's so ridiculous! Their theories of
Creation and Evolution and the whole idea is to try to disprove God.
And since the Devil can't prove his own lies, he does his damnedest to
try to disprove the Truth! Because the more he can get you not to
believe the Truth, like he did Adam and Eve in the Garden, then you'll
have to believe his lies!

THE BIBLE DEFINITELY TEACHES THAT THESE ASTRAL BODIES INFLUENCE OUR
LIVES HERE ON EARTH, that they were made to control the various life
processes, balance of nature, etc. It must take a tremendous control
system of some kind to keep it all in harmony and order and operating
as it should! And why not? Why shouldn't God have put these things in
control of the balance, of when is the time to be born? (Ecc.3:2)

(Sara: It says, "In the beginning God created the Heaven and the
Earth," like the Earth is the central body and the heavens all around
have something to do with Earth.) Yes! This is what the ancients and
particularly the church believed, that the Earth was the center of
everything; all the rest existed for the benefit of the Earth and life
on Earth.

But they deliberately lie about ancient wisdom and knowledge as though
it was ridiculous. They try to ridicule the old wisdom as though it
were all false and they're the only ones that really know, they've only
found it out lately and they are revealing these marvellous truths to
you for the first time!--When actually Man has forgotten more truth
than they ever knew, and more things about Creation and the way things
operate and astrology and all the rest!

But you notice what they're always driving at in their astronomical
figures? All of their figuring always begins with some big star
explosion, that our sun was just a star that kind of exploded and threw
off these planets and blah blah!--That it all happened by accident, and
that the Earth just happens to be one more little planet amongst
billions and billions, a little speck of dust in space and why should
it be important at all?

It's amazing that these same scientists could so belittle themselves
and their planet and their home, and at the same time so exalt
themselves into being gods! But that's all to try to debunk the idea
that the Earth is really the center of things as far as God's
concerned. Is that hard for you to believe?--It's the Bible! And I
believe the Bible! I believe it means exactly what it says!--And it
says that the Earth was created first, and the sun, moon and stars four
days later! The sun, moon and stars were created for the benefit of the
Earth!

THE PLANETARY SOLAR SYSTEM DISTANCES, MOVEMENTS, RELATIONSHIPS, EVEN
INFLUENCES ARE TRUE SCIENCE and have been scientifically proven. But
the distance even to the nearest star that they claim is so far away,
that is mere theory. All of these stellar distances are mere theory.

See, that's where they run you right off the edge of the Solar system
and their true measurements and actual proof of space probes and the
Solar distances and all that, the things they really know and can prove
and have measurements and photographs and all the rest. But when they
get beyond man's little limit here of the Solar system, Brother,
they've gone too far! "Thus far", the Lord says, "and no farther!"

There's not a single star that is more than 6,000 light years away! How
can I prove that? Because time has only existed for the last 6,000
years, and the sun, moon and stars have only been around for the last
6,000 years! So if any of them are any further away than that, they
just never existed! There's not a single star that is more than 6,000
light years away!

It says that on the fourth day He made the stars also. (Gen.1:16)--Do
you think you could see them then? Well, we know from History that
they've been seen for several thousand years, and it's my personal
conviction that the stars were visible that very day. "Lights in the
heavens" (Gen.1:15)--you must have been able to see them if they were
lights! So if they saw them that same day, on the fourth day, they
certainly couldn't have been more than 24 hours away.

Not even one light year away! Not even one light month away! They're
not even one light week away! And they undoubtedly have to be less than
one light day away, so they're only a few light hours away at the very
most!--Not billions and trillions of light years, that's a lot of
baloney! They are very far and they are very high, "Behold, the stars
how high they are!"--They're far out, but they're not that far out!

BUT WHY DOES THE DEVIL KEEP HARPING ON THAT? Why does he keep
inculcating students and children and big folks with those same lies
about the distance of the stars? (James: Because if there were these
great distances, it would imply that the whole thing's been around for
millions of years!) A lot longer than 6,000 years! "So therefore the
Bible isn't true, Creation's not only 6,000 years old, Man hasn't been
here only 6,000 years!"--they say.

"The Earth ISN'T the most important planet, MAN'S not so important!
After all, it's just a speck of dust, what the Hell does it matter what
happens to us? We can blow the World up or kill our fellow man, it
doesn't matter how we treat him or anything else!"--say the scientists.
What a hellish Hell of a doctrine! All the Devil's devilish doctrines
are damnable, fiendish, destructive, designed to destroy faith,
designed to destroy belief in God and His Word and His Creation!

So when they tell you these lies, DON'T believe it, because they ain't
necessarily so! In fact, these "scientific" lies are necessarily not
so! But that's the insidious thing about it: They state one fact and
one truth, and go right on to the lies and state them just like they
were just as much proven facts and truth as the last thing they said!

The Devil slips in his sly sharp evil poisonous tongue right in between
God's Truth! That's the way the Lord allows it, because "His sheep know
His voice and they will follow Him, and a stranger they will not
follow." (Jn.10:4,5) The Lord witnesses to the spirit of even a little
child, a clean child that's of the Lord, of at least even one believing
parent, He witnesses the truth constantly. I know He did to me!

From the time I was a little tiny child I recognised the Voice of God
and the Truth, and I could recognise the voice of the Devil and his
lies! From the time I first started school too, I could tell the
difference between good and evil, lying teachers and the ones who were
telling you the truth.

After all, He let the Devil slip into the Garden of Eden to test Adam
and Eve to see what they would do. Of course He knew what they were
going to do, but the whole thing was to be a lesson for all of us.
Because the people who believe the Truth will recognise and reject the
Devil's lies. And of course those who believe lies, it's because
they've already rejected the Truth.

But we have one very simple easy standard almost any child can use, and
that is, if it's against what the Bible says, it ain't so! PTL? OK!
Just remember, whenever it comes to contradicting God's Word in any
way, shape or form, I don't care how much they pretend to prove it or
blah blah blah, it just ain't so!

Two reasons.
One, making the bed in the morning is as simple as closing the
door.
Two: easier to heat a smaller space like that with body heat, than
an entire bedroom.
Three: neato making factor.

Reagan: The Great American Socialist

Ravi Batra comments that if Democratic President Barack Obama is a
"small" socialist, then Reagan was the "Great American Socialist."
(Photo: University of Texas)

Socialism has been much in the news for some months. Recently, some
GOP stalwarts charged President Obama with preaching the heresy. John
Boehner, the House minority leader, characterized Obama's stimulus
package as, "one big down payment on a new American socialist
experiment."

"Socialism" is a pejorative term in American politics and needs to
be carefully examined. It usually refers to increased government
control over the economy, or policies that promote the redistribution
of wealth. There is no doubt that President Obama's economic measures,
passed and proposed, will raise tax rates on the richest Americans to
pay for increased government funding of health care, green energy and
education. So the new president is indeed a redistributionist, but so
was Ronald Reagan, except that Obama's plans will transfer wealth from
the rich to the poor, whereas Reagan's bills transferred wealth from
the poor and the middle class to the opulent. In fact, Obama's measures
are puny, whereas Reagan's were massive. If the Democrat is a "small"
socialist, Reagan was the Great American Socialist.

Let's go back to the early 1980's. In 1981, Reagan signed a law
that sharply reduced the income tax for the wealthiest Americans and
corporations. The president asserted his program would create jobs,
purge inflation and, get this, trim the budget deficit. However,
following the tax cut, the deficit soared from 2.5 percent of GDP to
over 6 percent, alarming financial markets, sending interest rates sky
high, and culminating in the worst recession since the 1930's.

Soon the president realized he needed new revenues to trim the
deficit, bring down interest rates and improve his chances for
reelection. He would not rescind the income tax cut, but other taxes
were acceptable. In 1982, taxes were raised on gasoline and cigarettes,
but the deficit hardly budged. In 1983, the president signed the
biggest tax rise on payrolls, promising to create a surplus in the
Social Security system, while knowing all along that the new revenue
would be used to finance the deficit.

The retirement system was looted from the first day the Social
Security surplus came into being, because the legislation itself gave
the president a free hand to spend the surplus in any way he liked.
Thus began a massive transfer of wealth from the poor and the middle
class, especially the self-employed small businessman, to the wealthy.
The self-employment tax jumped as much as 66 percent.

In 1986, Reagan slashed the top tax rate further. His
redistributionist obsession led to a perversity in the law. The
wealthiest faced a 28 percent tax rate, while those with lower incomes
faced a 33 percent rate; in addition, the bottom rate climbed from 11
percent to 15 percent. For the first time in history, the top rate fell
and the bottom rate rose simultaneously. Even unemployment compensation
was not spared. The jobless had to pay income tax on their benefits. A
year later, the man who would not spare unemployment compensation from
taxation called for a cut in the capital gains tax. Thus, Reagan was a
staunch socialist, totally committed to his cause of wealth
redistribution towards the affluent.

How much wealth transfer has occurred through Reagan's policies? At
least $3 trillion.

The Social Security hike generated over $2 trillion in surplus
between 1984 and 2007, and if it had been properly invested, say, in
AAA corporate bonds it could have earned another trillion by now. At
present, the fund is empty, because it has been used up to finance the
federal deficits resulting from frequent cuts in income tax rates. If
this is not redistribution of wealth from the poor to the rich, what
else is?

Thus, Reagan was the first Republican socialist - and a great one,
because his wealth transfer occurred on a massive scale. His
accomplishment dwarfs even FDR's, and if today the small businessman
suffers a crippling tax burden, he must thank Reagan the
redistributionist. However, FDR took pains to help the poor, while
Reagan took pains to help the wealthiest like himself.

Reagan's measures were similar to those that the Republicans
adopted during the 1920's, which were followed by the catastrophic
Depression. More recently, such policies were mimicked by President
George W. Bush and they are about to plunge the world into a depression
as well. Ironically, the Reagan-style socialism or wealth
redistribution is about to destroy monopoly capitalism, the very system
that he wanted to preserve and enrich.

Wake up America and elect leaders with a heart - not those who
would tax your unemployment benefits and cut the capital gains tax.

When shooting Americans, southerners make the best targets
because they are fat, stupid and slow.

Southerners are lazy cock suckers who think they invented
Christianity. but everyone knows that if they weren't forced
to, they would still own black slaves and like that Republican
Thomas Jefferson, be raping them.

"Republican Jesus is very different than the Jesus you and I
are familiar with. First off, he is White. Not just white,
but White. Republican Jesus has a special place in his heart
for America. Specifically, White America. Do you doubt this?
Ask yourself why anyone who believes in a colorblind Jesus
would even conceive of praying for the death of Obama? No,
only those who follow Republican Jesus would even think that
such a prayer could, or should, be answered. If you are
currently thinking that racism has nothing to do with the
unprecedented hatred of Obama, go away, I m talking to the
grownups." ****
"Republican Jesus loves guns. Loves them! Never mind all that
silly talk of beating swords into plowshares! Every good
member of the church of Republican Jesus should have, at
minimum, enough armament to hold off an invasion by those
commie Nazi liberal hordes that are coming any day now. Or the
ATF, whichever shows up first. Or maybe just enough to wipe
out a school room filled with kids when their excellent
parenting skills manifest themselves in the next Columbine
tragedy. "Remember, conservatives, to complain about
anti-bullying programs being government overreach afterwards!"
****
"Republican Jesus loves the rich. Ignore that whole camel
through the eye of a needle garbage. Republican Jesus wants
you to be prosperous!
It s called prosperity theology and it percolates throughout
the conservative religious fervor. "
****
"Republican Jesus hates the poor. This is the flip side of
prosperity theology . If God rewards the faithful with riches,
than the poor are obviously NOT of the faith and deserve what
they get. This is, in part, why conservatives hate the social
safety nets of welfare, food stamps and Medicaid. Those (and
by those I mean those) people don t worship Republican Jesus
and are unworthy of being helped. Besides if you feed them,
they ll just breed!"

What the Republicans Fear Is the Loss of Fear
November 29th, 2010 Filed under: Republican Beliefs
Contributing Writer

Fear is a tool that is used far too often in politics. Both
major parties use fear from time to time, but it seems that
Republicans use fear way too often as a tool to manipulate us,
and more importantly, they lie about what to fear.

They want you to fear the foreign government that is going to
come here and kill us. Now this is something that we should
always be mindful of as a nation, but we shouldnt be making
widespread lies to strike fear into the hearts of Americans so
that we can invade and occupy a nation for a decade that hasnt
done anything to us. They go on TV and tell you that this guy
has biological weapons and this guy has nukes and if you dont
elect us, these evil entities will come to your home town and
erase it from the map. They used this fear tool so effectively
in 2004 that we as a nation re-elected the dumbest President we
have ever had to a 2nd term. That is how fearful they had us.

They want you to fear the Muslims even though they say Islam is
not a religion of hate. They talk about Islamic Extremists
every chance they get. Do they ever call any other extremist
group or terrorist organization by their religion the way they
do with Muslims? No. They want to keep making sure that you
hear Muslim or Islamic every time something bad happens to
justify their actions in the middle east. They never once
referred to Tim McVeigh as a Christian Terrorist even though
he said after the bombings that he was doing Gods work. They
never once referred to Dr Tillers murderer as a Christian
Extremist even though the only reason he murdered Dr Tiller
was because of a difference in religious beliefs. The other
reason the want you afraid of Islam and Muslims directly leads
to the next thing they want you to fear..President Obama.

They constantly try to tie Obama with Islam because if they
already have you afraid of Muslims, and they get you to believe
Obama is a Muslim, then you will naturally fear him. What
amazes me about the fear tools they use when it comes to the
President is that they equate him to a Muslim because they know
they have you all ginned up on Islam, but then they say hes a
Communist or a Marxist. How many Muslim KGB agents do you ever
recall hearing about? They, when it comes to Obama. Want you to
fear any number of things that arent true. Fear that hes a
Muslim. Not true. Fear that hes a Communist. Not true. Fear
that he will take your guns away. Not true. Fear that he will
tax you into the poor house. Not true. Fear that he will crush
small businesses with his policies. Not true. But in the
Republican world, it doesnt matter if its true or not. All
that matters is if they can get you to fear it, because if they
can get you afraid of it, you will vote against it. And if you
vote against it, they will have the power.

They want you to fear the economy. How many times does Glenn
Beck push gold right after telling you that the Democratic
government is destroying the dollar and your bank accounts will
be worth nothing in the very near future? They tell you the
economy is going to completely collapse and that you need gold
as a purchasing tool, and an emergency seed stash to plant a
garden for when the supermarket shelves will be bare. The fear
is based on the one thing everyone wants and needsmoney. The
ironic part is that while Glenn Beck is telling you the economy
is collapsing, he is getting richer off of fear.

They want you to fear that which isnt like them homosexuals,
women who have thoughts of their own and anyone who doesnt
long for the good old days of the 1950s. They want you to fear
that if a homosexual couple gets married, then your marriage
wont mean anything. They want you to fear that if homosexuals
adopt kids, then those kids will be homosexual too. They want
you to fear a womans right to choose, and to be honest with
you, I cant figure out why. They want you to fear anyone who
doesnt think like you because apparently the last 400 years
hasnt shown them that different groups of people that do not
have anything in common other than a desire to be free can come
together to live in peace and prosperity.

They want to use fear to keep you from voting against them.
They want you to believe that they have all of the answers and
the Democrats do not so you should fear the Democrats.
Democrats use fear as well. The difference between what
Democrats tell you to fear and what Republicans tell you to
fear is that the fear the Democrats speak of is real. Democrats
want you to fear putting a party back in power that took a
record surplus and turned it into a record deficit, led us into
the worst recession in 80 years and was the cause of millions
of jobs being lost in this country. That is real fear when it
comes to the economy. Democrats want you to fear putting a
party back in control that wages war for its friends to be able
to profit, costing thousands of American lives and billions of
American dollars. Thats is real fear when it comes to foreign
policy. Democrats want you to fear putting a party back in
power that oppresses homosexuals, women and minorities. Thats
real fear on the domestic front, not that the President is a
Muslim Communist born in Kenya with radical Christian views on
social justice. Which, by the way, doesnt make sense at all.
How can you demonize Obama for his radical Christian church
that he attended for 20 years as you are so apt to point out
every change you get, yet still demonize him for being a
Muslim? How many Muslims do you know that have attended a
Christian church for 20 years?

Dont buy the fear the Republicans are peddling. They want you
to be afraid so you will vote them back into power. The real
fear that Americans should be feeling is about returning to the
destructive policies and actions of the last 8 years or even
worse if the next wave of Republicans are even more right wing
than the last bunch. Those would be known as the Teabaggers
and that is what I really fear.
