The directory where the image is stored will eventually change when you
have uploaded enough of them.

But you don't really have to worry about that as long as you work
through the application to reference the files. It's generally called
"ID partitioning", or something like that to avoid hitting limits on
some file systems for the sheer number of directory entries allowed.
