Re: Which of Googles Map Products to Use

You've described everything you tried, but you have said nothing about
the type of application you want to write, and that's probably the
most important bit of information we'd need to answer your question.
What should your application do? What sort of user interaction do you
need? Who are your target audience?, etc...

Other than that, whether a terrain map can be added to Google Earth is
a question better suited for the Google Earth group.
