Django Game Development?

Hi! I'm fairly new to Django, but I am so far loving it. So, I was wondering: Is it possible to write simple 2D games with Django?

I'm not new to Python. I've been programming in Python for about a year and a half now consistently (I started programming in Python 3 years ago, but jumped from it to JS to C++ to Lua to Ruby to Java and then went back to Python and basically stuck with it ever since) and I am loving it. Python was my first programming language, and is by far my favorite (next to Java). I haven't been able to write a game in Python yet, but I intend to. I always said I was going to write a game in Python, and I intend to. I think if I can do that with Django and maybe something like PyGame or PyGlet that would be FANTASTIC!

Can I use stuff like PyGame or PyGlet or something with Django? I haven't seen any talk of writing games with Django, other than an old 6 year abandoned MMORPG. Can I even write games with Django?

Oh, and one more thing: How do you pronounce Django? Is it just pronounced 'Jango', or "D Jango"? I've always pronounced it 'D Jango', but I've heard some people pronounce it 'Jango'. Is there any special meaning behind the name 'Django' as well?

Thanks!
