For the Cox engines I was told to use two D size alkaline cells in
parallel. I do that, with good thick wires, and it works like a charm.
I use 3/16" (I think that's the size) copper tube on the batteries,
which is just the right size for banana plugs, good thick not-too-long
wires, and a Sulivan clip. It works like a charm.

For the conversion heads with glow plugs, I use a little bitty
Ni-starter -- whee!

That's easy George.
The Latin gangs terrorizing places like Phoenix aren't wearing diapers on
their heads.
4th ID would be patrolling the streets from Mexico City north to the border
today if they did.

I still think my idea to parachute 10,000 naked menopausal Irish women each
with a bottle of single malt into Iraq and Afgahanistan is a winner. They'd
give a drunken Irish ass woopin' to anyone that didn't gouge out their eyes
and that would be the end of that.

I'm terrible at circuit board work and useless at EE design, but I can have
kits done.
How about this one? My control can output 0-10 volt for analog control.
http://www.kitsrus.com/pdf/k102.pdf

And then get a servo motor.

You've ALMOST got it right. Google R/2R or "Resistor Ladder" to get
what you're looking for.

Awfully elaborate. Easier would be to run three wires from the box,
(usually a potentiometer has three terminals) to an interface that
contains multiple pots just like the original, and a bunch of relays
to switch one or the other into the circuit. How many 'states' do you
need to have the digital gizmo control? Fast-medium-slow-off?
If one terminal is ground, wire those all together and put a
double-pole relay on each channel. The digital gizmo just
selects one of the preset pots.

As you will undoubtedly find, 'digital' potentiometers have low
voltage
and current limits, and are best designed in at the factory.

I'm surprised Jon hasn't opened up his high end job shop yet with
those high tech Fadals he was packing away.

"Here at Jon Banquer's Fadal Graveyard, we utilize the ultimate in
cracked CADCAM software with full graphical editing of the toolpath,
and full dynamic graphical selection of start and stop points on
chains, as well as full dynamic graphical selection of cutter comp
direction. Our cracked copy of NX with Synchronous Technology,
guarantees we'll drag and drop the features of your solid model until
the finished part is completely unrecognizable. This full dynamic
technology combined with our seamless hybrid modeling kernel, and true
solid cut part rendering, ensure your parts will be cut as efficiently
as possible on our 20 year old, worn out, "paid for" Fadals. Quality
is assured via an elaborate collection of antique, uncalibrated
inspection equipment, stored in a 12 foot high rollaway, complete with
a mirror to look into the top."

keep in mind that most of the hate postings are by people who are bitter,
isolated and not on the receiving side of any benefit. There used to be a
time when we felt that what was good for the country as a whole was the
right thing to do - you will notice that this attitude is now gone,
particularly from those posting about death panels, baby killing, and using
divisive terms and invective. We had a civil war once - it was not
pleasant. I had hoped we had matured enough to find solutions rather than
make speeches but evidence appears to the contrary. Carl Rove and his
divide and win policy certainly has not helped any. The demise of
newspapers has led to the uniformed believing what they read on internet
blogs or hear screamed by talking heads who are paid for their ability to
arouse, not for their ability to be truthful. Those who denigrate the
current administration via ad-hominem attacks and factless accusations are
part of the problem - and screaming, shouting, and spittle do not lead to a
dialog, solution, unity, or progress. Did anyone ever see Regan, for
example, stoop to this level? or Eisenhower? or even either of the Bushes?

And we are going to have another one before long.

Indeed. Check Washington and the Internet. Leftwingers are hardly
"mature". Responding to them at their level causes them to go even
more batshit crazy.

>Carl Rove and his

Neither has the Franks/Pelosi/Schumer "Fuck the Right" stance.

Odd...since the newspapers are/were largely a
Liberal/Progressive/Socialist/Marxist run media..the Internet has given
other viewpoints far far more visability to other viewpoints amd
frankly...truthful information exchange.

What..you dont like Transparency?

Nope..but one must respond to Leftwingers in a fashion that they are
most familiar with and one that they comprehend. One that they use for
the most part.

Afterall...one cannot be understood if using proper English, when
addressing inner city thugs, correct?

Can you use wildcards in it? If so, you can match on something
like "*,*,*,*" to kill off anything with four or more newsgroups in the
list. Almost never do I find something here with that many newsgroups
in the cross-posting list to be anything other than trolling or flame
wars started by trolls -- so good riddance.

Enjoy,

Im needing both a NMTB 30 and an NMTB 40 tool with a drill chuck (5/8'
prefered) attached. OR NMTB 30/40 tooling with Jacobs stub so I can
attach my own drill chucks.

Ive been running into some space limitations so need shorter tooling.

Ive got plenty of GOOD drill chucks and a few GOOD R8 drill chucks to
trade. Jacobs/Albrect/Rohm
