Yup. Most trolls, while irritating and aggravating..are not normally
retarded.

The way it works is you have to go to school long enough to be indoctrinated
with liberalism. When they brainwash you enough to fit the mold of a
liberal then they tell you that you are thinking for yourself. If you have
any opinion that disagrees with modern liberalism as taught in schools, then
you are not thinking for yourself. Liberals think for themselves and give
the indoctrinated cookie cutter answer, and anyone that comes up with their
own answer isn't thinking for themselves.

The word is Promote, not Provide. I know that confuses a lot of
people since both words start with "Pro".

There is absolutely nothing wrong with U.S. HealthCare. Many consider
its results to be the best in the world & many of the worlds Rich &
Famous come here for treatment.

True enough no one should go bankrupt because of a bad illness, but
that would include the country as well. Additionally if you do want
that "premium" policy, you shouldn't be taxed on it just because
you've decided to obtain one.

For the smaller sizes, at least, I've found the plain end mill
holders are shorter. Even for 5/8", I think that a 5/8" end mill holder
in either 30 Taper or 40 Taper would be shorter than a chuck on an
adaptor.

And the smaller DA collet chucks also would be shorter than an
arbor plus a Jacobs chuck, though the larger collet chucks would be
longer, of course.

Also -- do you have a 30-40 taper adaptor? I have one which
will allow the 30 taper tooling for the Bridgeport to work with my 40
taper Nichols horizontal -- I just needed to make a new drawbar for
those, since they expected a different drawbar thread.

You could also try a Jacobs to straight shank in a 40 taper end
mill holder.

Good Luck,
DoN.

What the mid-east neads is a great legal mind to come in and
sue the pants off the lot of them. You can do it, Chuck.
The Pallies always fold immediately, and wtf do Jewish
lawyers know. You'll win a default judgment, and nobody
will ever file a counterclaim. You could make enough money
to pay Cannon et al's legal fees & punitive damages.

Any usenet-chaser can clean up auk. Be a hero, and clean up
the whole fucking middle east!

Hmm ... turn a ring for the OD of the aluminum jaws (or for
steps which you have turned on them to make them look like standard
chuck jaws) and expand the jaws into it to leave a grip diameter just a
little larger than as small as you can. Then drill the jaws (expanded
into the ring) to the tap drill size and start a tap into this on the
lathe with the rear end held in line by the tailstock center. Once the
tap is started, remove the chuck from the lathe and grip it in a vise
and finish tapping the jaws as deep as is reasonable for holding your
threaded stock. Then you can loosen the chuck (after removing the ring)
and easily thread the screw stock into it and clamp down on the thread
having much more grip surface.

Or -- if you don't have soft jaws, take some aluminum of say 1"
OD (assuming your thread size is 1/2" or less), center drill it and
drill to tap size on the lathe while holding it in the 3-jaw chuck and
tap as before. Then remove from the chuck, and put a slitting saw in
your mill and cut a radial slit from the OD to the center hole. Now,
put it back in the lathe chuck, orient the slit directly opposite one of
the jaws, screw in your screw while it is loose, then tighten the chuck
to close the slit and grip the thread.

Enjoy,
DoN.

I also have a 60 gallon Husky, bought cheap minus the compressor head
after it fell over somewhere. I put a Kellogg-American on it. Out of
curiosity I asked the Home Depot service desk about parts and was told
they couldn't get anything at all for it, in fact the store displays
had been stripped of small parts by angry customers.

Twenty four shootings in two days, and two dead? I'd say it is definitely a
conspiracy, and Bush is to blame. No prudent person would think otherwise.

I wonder if the NRA would set-up shooting classes? It sure would be in
everybody's interest that Democrats learn to shoot...it's OK, they are
shooting other Democrats. They need these:

16 gauge is petty standard for serious brakes. That is what my
24" DiAcro has as its maximum. The Chinese imports (Harbor Freight and
the like) are probably limited to 18 gauge instead. For 14 gauge and
thicker, you are talking about *seriously* heavy equipment. :-) It was a
major task getting my 16 gauge 24" DiAcro up onto a workbench. Two
people siding it up a board ramp which was bowing significantly.

And what *width* of 'U'?

I don't think that a finger (or pan) brake would be very easy to
produce a U with 1/4" sides -- depending on just how *wide* it is. If
it is say an inch wide -- fine. When I hear 'U', I think of something
not as wide as it is tall (like the letter 'U' on my screen. :-)

If it is as wide as the side height (1/4") then that would not
work well at all -- unless he makes custom fingers for the brake.

Again -- custom die set for the 'U'. Perhaps with a guide
included for the width of the stock prior to bending, so it remains
centered as the punch enters the die.

Enjoy,
DoN.

Any of you guys know where I might find large aircraft inner tubes such
as for the B52?
I guess 747 inner tubes would work too.
