The only member of 0bama's cabinet with any brains can read the writing on
the wall and is bailing on 0bama. Watch him apply the screws to his old
Master Daley and push him out of his nice comfy chair.

Rahm never wanted to serve as Chief of Staff anyway, he always had his
sights set on Speaker of the House. With the old hag grandma in that
position, and the rest of the mob getting voted out in the upcoming
elections, Rahmbo is jumping ship.

By doing this, he sending a signal to 0bama that he should go back to Kenya,
where her was born, and start a forgery school for aspiring imposters.

Back of the knapkin, that sounds like about 300-350 amps on the welding side.

40A * 1.732 * 400v = 27712 (P=IE*1.732) since it is three phase.
200a * 1 * 240v = 48000 (P=IE*1) since it is three phase.

POLICE PUSH REPORTERS AWAY FROM GAY PROTESTERS AT FENCE...

Most transparent White House ever...

Police chased reporters away from the White House and closed Lafayette Park
today in response to a gay rights protest in which several service members
in full uniform handcuffed themselves to the White House gate to protest
"Don't Ask, Don't Tell."

People who have covered the White House for years tell me that's an
extremely unusual thing to do in an area that regularly features protests.

A reporter can be seen in the YouTube video above calling the move
"outrageous" and "ridiculous."

And the Leftwingers still deny that they and theirs are not

Thanks Lloyd..Ill check it out. Its NOT a THHC motor..so it does have
openings into the motor housing and it does spend its time outdoors in
the open. So the switch could indeed be stuck

Which is not true with my Airco PhaseArc350, 300 amp mig welder,
unfortunately.

I've seen a lot of Rivett lathes at auctions of older plants in the
northeast, they all looked rock solid. Quite a few were secondary operation
lathes, IIRC.

What a sweet looking design. Other than maybe being
something of a bitch to change the belts, it looks like
it would be easy to maintain. Or just take out the
vari-speed motor and belts and stick in a plain vanilla
3-phase motor and vfd.

If you give him the lathe, I think he would be obligated
to help you with a certain muddy job you have (:

Is this a 1020 or the far more common 1030?

Frankly..if the ways were good and nothing was worn out...Id give a
couple toes to own either one. Marvelous lathes!!

And yes..the drives are very very good.

Odd...I pay $4.95 a month for Giganews. Lowest rung, but I use only a
few newsgroups and a couple binary groups.

I had to drop my 12yr old internet account some time ago..$25 a month
for dialup was simply not in my budget..and Im sharing HIGH speed
internet with a neighbor across the street with wifi. So my cost for
internet access is $0, and Usenet is $4.95 per month.

Its nice to be able to view real time video. Never had it before.

I don't use Thunderbird, but if it is like the newsreader in the Netscape, Mozilla, Sea
Monkey chain, it really doesn't like newsgroups with a lot of content. That is if nothing
has changed since the last time I checked it out.

If you are on wintel, try a trial of Agent from www.forteinc.com I'm not saying they are
perfect but for fairly cheap, it works.

I use the old Netscape 4.78 to read newsgroups. You can delete the
'SNM' file for a newsgroup when it becomes too large. The next time you
want to read that group it will create a new 'SNM' file. If you have it
set to only download unread headers, the new file will be quite small.
