The original poster cited the media's claim that the right is trawling
for assassins.

What more do you need? Should be good for a conviction, right?

Why? The media has already told you all you need to know. See the
original posting.

You have a point, but I'd rather just vote them out. Put
Constitutionalists in those slots. People who give a shit about

Not at all. You're not particularly original, and frequently small-minded
and rude. How's that?

I didn't read the OP's post. I just saw Fred's.

I'm not interested. The thing that caught my eye was the veiled threats.

Not at all. The right is made up mostly of sleazy cowards and bullies.
That's why we hear threats of "violence" if liberals aren't "careful" in
what they say. That's a bully who's threatening violence over words. That's
a dirtbag. We see several of their defenders here.

what Fred said.

I have no idea what a "fluffer" is, nor do I care.

No equivocation here, Hammy: You fit right into the mold. Too cowardly to
use your real name, defending threats of violance, you're a spineless twit.

But you're our twit, and kind of loveable at times. d8-)

If I didn't drink, I could have made a living out of pool. I have a table
in my house right now. Old habits die hard.

Many was the night that I came home with more money than I left with, yet no
recollection.

First rule of hustling: Always let them think they can beat you. They will
play you as long as they THINK they can beat you. Once they realize they
can't, they quit. And if you ever misjudge a rube, you lose.

Here is the text:
I needed a portable 9 volt D.C. power supply for an
experiment. I happened to have a
broken power tool battery charger.
Rather than repair it, I removed its transformer and drilled
a couple holes
in the top to receive a pair of banana jacks. I was able to
conduct my experiment
without having to lug a lab supply and arrange for an A.C.
outlet in the field.

It worked a treat!

--WinstonHere is the question: Since you don't have 120 VAC
in the field. Where did the electricity come from? Empty
box, with no line cord, and no transformer? That's seriously
brilliant.... not!

I don't refrain from murdering because it's against the law. I
refrain because it's wrong.

Normal people instinctively know what's right and wrong and act
accordingly. The only reason we have to reduce that natural sense to
laws is to provide a basis to prosecute and punish people that break
normal standards. Once we can prosecute them ten times over what's
the value of law eleven?

It's questionable if laws actually prevent anything because the
criminal always figures they can get away with it or they wouldn't do
the crime in the first place.

Punishment is not really a deterrent. All we need for that is to
frame some poor bastard and make a lot of publicity about catching
him. And again, the criminal has figured they have a way to get away
with it that the guy in the newspaper wasn't smart enough to see.

Very possibly a hard inclusion, like a piece of HSS or carbide that got into
the melt.

I've related here before our experiences hitting a HSS tap, intact, in the
middle of a piece of steel bar. Unless the steel is arc-remelted, it can
happen.
