It is not "oil pressure" that builds up, but crankcase pressure -
and generally only if the oil gets frothed from hitting the crank. It
CAN take out seals - but the drop in oil pressure from foaming is more
likely, and more serious.

If it's not more than about 1/4 inch over, I woudn't sweat it -
particularly on the big engine.

What it turns out is that my sump capacity is 6 quarts, WITH FILTER. I
was measuring the fill level prior to filling the filter. I believe
that I am just fine the way I am.

Got myself a new Makita "D" handle drill. If and when I need a Hammer
Drill I'll borrow or rent one unless I find a good used one cheap. A
dedicated Hilti Hammer-drill would be just fine.

If it was closer and the shipping wasn't so expensive I'd bid on it.
But shipping that thing from southern California to Waterloo Ontario
would cost as much as the drill is worth.

I've used my neighbour's Hilti and the rental-shop's Hitachi. The
Hitachi was a bit heavier so was better when using it as a
jack-hammer. With a core-drill I did like the Hilti- but both are
SERIOUS hammer drills compared to the wimpy half inch drive Black and
Decker or Porter Cable Wannabees.

Some years ago, I wandered into a second hand store and found a Hilti
TE15 in a case with a bad cord. I talked the guy down to $65. Walked
out to the truck, fixed the cord, fired it up off the inverter (Ive got
a 2500 watt inverter in the van) and chortled as I drilled holes in his
parking lot pavement. Ive been happy as hell with it since then.

I picked up a BIG Milwaukee hammer drill a couple years ago at a yard
sale for $20. Uses the hex shank 7/16 bits...which are harder to find
than SDS. I snagged a few off Ebay, a few at the swap meets etc etc.
Works fine. Tuesday I blew a 2" hole through 14" of foundation wall,
to install air lines for a big screw compressor. Didnt take very damned
long to drill out that hole either. Love that thing..but it weighs
almost 20 lbs. Its the version the 5300 was based on.

I would venture to guess that there is NOBODY who participates in this
group who has the math skills required to understand, even
superficially, the raw data that the deniers keep demanding. Yet that
would never stop certain people from spouting their own version of
garbage as the "one truth."

There is nothing inherently wrong with choosing to believe the
findings of a given scientist. But don't pretend that you have the
chops to understand those findings in any but the most elementary way,
or the methodology used to arrive at them.

Or, you could take the really simplistic route:

In Northern NJ:
* A couple of weeks ago, it was really cold and very snowy.

* Last week, it was pretty chilly and very windy and rainy.

* Today it was severely clear, sunny and warm.

Based on those observations alone, I'd say it's indisputable that
there's a significant warming trend...

Dan, Gunner, Larry and Rush would probably disagree.

NON annodized aluminum works good for camshaft bearings on many OHC
engines - just bored in the casting.
Most engine main bearings are also aluminum - although usually steel
backed. With a pressurized lubrication system aluminum bearings can
take a pretty substantial load.

I'll have to download it into my iPod.
I suspect it will be a change from _Dracula_.

Some are more capable than others. Get references, go online to check
their licensing and insurance/bond validity, and THEN talk to 'em.
IOW, do your homework, suckah.

A week after the completion of hardscape in the front yard,
the doorbell rang. A very nice lady pointed at various plants,
fresh potting soil and a *lot* of water that were proceeding
down the driveway.

She indicated that one normally expects to see these items
remaining fixed in relation to one other and implied
that I might investigate why they insisted on an eastbound
trajectory instead of the more traditional stasis.

I thanked her and shut off the main house valve.

The plants, soil and water continued their journey.

I zipped into the garage and snapped up the street valve
wrench. After shutting off the street valve, the
mini tsunami subsided at last.

My dear landscaper friends had placed a compression tee
in the main water line to the house, upstream
of the shutoff.
Naturally, their joint failed, causing the gusher.

Only a week later, I replaced the plastic pipe running
underneath all the very expensive hard scape to the
street valve and spliced the irrigation system into the
*irrigation feed valve the landscapers had ignored*.

It's worked well for about 7 years but you can bet I wonder
what other surprises lurk.

(Shudder)

The language to which opponents refer, and which the Washington Examiner
explicitly cited, changes the rules of each House to limit Congress' ability to
change the recommendations of the Board.

(3) LIMITATION ON CHANGES TO THE BOARD RECOMMENDATIONS-

`(A) IN GENERAL- It shall not be in order in the Senate or the House of
Representatives to consider any bill, resolution, or amendment, pursuant to this
subsection or conference report thereon, that fails to satisfy the requirements
of subparagraphs (A)(i) and (C) of subsection (c)(2).

`(B) LIMITATION ON CHANGES TO THE BOARD RECOMMENDATIONS IN OTHER LEGISLATION- It
shall not be in order in the Senate or the House of Representatives to consider
any bill, resolution, amendment, or conference report (other than pursuant to
this section) that would repeal or otherwise change the recommendations of the
Board if that change would fail to satisfy the requirements of subparagraphs
(A)(i) and (C) of subsection (c)(2).

`(C) LIMITATION ON CHANGES TO THIS SUBSECTION- It shall not be in order in the
Senate or the House of Representatives to consider any bill, resolution,
amendment, or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this
subsection.

`(D) WAIVER- This paragraph may be waived or suspended in the Senate only by the
affirmative vote of three-fifths of the Members, duly chosen and sworn.

`(E) APPEALS- An affirmative vote of three-fifths of the Members of the Senate,
duly chosen and sworn, shall be required in the Senate to sustain an appeal of
the ruling of the Chair on a point of order raised under this paragraph.

Congress can overturn this rule with a 3/5ths majority vote, in which case
nothing would stand in the way of Congress changing the recommendations of the
Board and voting on the changed version.

Section 3403 also includes language saying that the Secretary of Health and
Human Services must not implement the recommendations of the Board if Congress
acts to discontinue it using certain specified procedures. Nothing in the text
says, nor could it constitutionally say, that Congress cannot enact new law
terminating the Board, or for that matter, repealing any or all of the bill. The
text does not restrict Congress's ability to terminate the Board; it creates a
mechanism whereby Congress could terminate the Board more easily.

To whom or what are you praying, and do you think that entity values

Are you at all serious about ANYTHING that you write? Do you really
expect an "end of the world" over this legislation, which replaces,
formalizes and funds some of the charity care which has kept you alive
the past few years? Seriously?

Maybe you should consider stocking up on tin foil.
